On my hike to the Schlaubetal valley yesterday, I stopped for a break at the Waldschänke inn and was very pleased with both the food and the service. The cherry crumble cake was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. There's plenty of space to sit and relax, and the autumn leaves in the forest opposite make for a beautiful view.
