This place was the highlight day. The staff were so welcoming and a croissant, latte and chocolate bob bob treat totalled only 5 euros. I will be back for sure.

Loved this place, from the spherical chandeliers, to graphic bakery posters, to the efficient ladies, to the coffees and alcohol served — it's a homey vibe. Their sandwiches were delicious too and came with more vegetables than the normal Florentine bakery sandwiches. We came here twice in one day!

Alcedo deserve 6*****. Better than the childhood neighborhood bakeries, perfect pastries and a sacher torte with character. Two remarkably efficient women staff a steady line of locals coming for Sunday treats. The best eclair with real homemade cream Ever.
