I discovered this pastry shop after 10 years in the area. It's a historic pastry shop in Morciano, less famous than the other, more well-known one, but the pastries here are better! From now on, only Ghigi's pastries!

A historic pastry shop in Morciano, the dessert display is truly tempting. I ordered a "marchesina," pictured here, a cream puff pastry with coffee-flavored ladyfingers and cream. The same pastry is also available in Alchermes.

Plenty of choice, although there's a big difference between French and Italian pastries. We had a tiramisu-style cake. Light and delicious. I recommend it. There's also a tea room and a terrace where you can enjoy your treats.
