Gorgeous place. The boat excursions are great. The blue sea and beautiful caves, cliffs and beaches are wonderful. The boat even stopped for a few of us to swim in the sea! A marzipan sweet and a marzipan liqueur from Salvatore the captain was an unexpected treat too! Plenty of bars and restaurants to visit afterwards too.

Parking is a bit of a challenge here, but there are some charters available. This affords a fairly easy and quick boat tour to Isola Verde and Taormina with some caves and other sights along the way.

Rented a boat for 4 hours (€230) from this port. Only road side parking which was a challenge if you have any car. This is also a tender port for cruise ships which luckily, only one was ported for the day. Put your patience cap on!
