As a foreigner you'll probably be skipped in line as the server will choose to talk to locals first. At least, this was our experience when we attempted to go get coffee. Didn't get to experience the friendly service people talk about in their reviews. However, the prices and the place seemed nice.

We have only visited Caffè Tahiti for breakfast, but every time we experienced super friendly staff and very good quality food. Highly recommend! Also, they are super welcoming to Americans that don’t speak much Italian (like ourselves).
