We set out from the Acqua Fredda refuge, walking at a normal pace with a couple of stops to admire the view. It took us about an hour. The first climb, with gigantic steps near the refuge, is challenging; the rest is a walk in the park. I don't recommend climbing the Timpa—it's very dangerous.
